The staff also sends out press mailings for each show to 160 reviewers and publications as well as handling listings in Gallery Guide, Chelsea Guide, Art in America and many online venues. We offer our artists deep discounts for ads in ARTnews.

Dues are currently $235 per month . Artists are expected to serve on committees, (such as Membership, Juried Competition, Maintenance, or Outside Shows), entailing about 40 hours of work per year. Members who are unable to fulfill the work hours will pay an additional $40, totaling $275 per month. There is a refundable deposit of $300 upon signing of the contract, and an initial fee of $300, payable in installments. At the time of the solo show, which usually comes toward the end of the 30-month contract, there is a fee of $300.

The application process is in two parts. The first stage is a submission of a web site that the committee can view on line, which should include several digital images representative of the artist's work, a biography and a current resume or curriculum vita. Those without a web site may submit a CD or printed photographs including the above information, along with a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE).

If the applicant is approved for the first phase he/she may be requested to submit three to four actual works for further review.
